Staff Student Assistant IV
Emily is a SoCal ex-patriot and has been a student at UCSC since 2003. Working with the IT-man-with-a-plan Miles Reed, she is now able to repair workstation desktops, set up wireless routers and mess around with open source software without fear.
At the university she is majoring in Community Studies and Feminist Studies, with an emphasis on documentary production and film theory. She is also a student worker for Media Services Engineering and occasionally teaches for the Center for Digital Storytelling in Berkeley.
When Emily is not working she can be found swimming in the ocean or falling off of her bicycle.
