 Student Tour Although the Seymour Center is the only facility open to the general public for daily tours on the Marine Science Campus, the MWVCRC will occasionally provide tours to larger groups with advance notice. In the past we've toured state officials, UCSC administrators, oiled wildlife care personnel, and students of all ages around the facility. Perhaps you'd like to take a Virtual Tour in the meantime.

 The Marine Wildlife Veterinary Care and Research Center The primary mission of the Marine Wildlife Veterinary Care
and Research Center
is to provide the California Department of Fish and Game and cooperating
organizations with a state-of-the-art care facility for sea otters and other
marine mammals and marine birds that may be affected by oil spills, other major
pollution events, disease emergencies, or other natural disasters. As such, it
is part of the larger U.C. Davis-Wildlife
Health Center operated Oiled Wildlife Care Network.
