Our facility (and the rest of the UCSC Marine Science Campus, for that matter) is listed incorrectly in Mapquest and Yahoo Maps driving directions.

Do not turn onto Shaffer Rd. off of Mission St. because it DEAD ENDS at railroad tracks. The red arrows below show the correct route to the UCSC Marine Sciences Campus, including our facility (see map below)

Correct directions to our facility.

From Highway-17:
take Hwy-1 (Mission Street) exit north toward Half Moon Bay.
After 3.5 miles, turn left on Swift, and drive about .3-mile to Delaware Road.

From highway 1 South (Watsonville, Salinas, Monterey)
take Hwy-1 (Mission Street) exit north toward Half Moon Bay.
3.5 miles after Highway 1 becomes Mission St., turn left on Swift, and drive about .3-mile to Delaware Road.

From Highway 1 North (Half Moon Bay, San Francisco)
Turn right on Swift (second stoplight after Santa Cruz city limits)

And then...
Turn right at the stop sign onto Delaware Road, and go .8-mile, straight through the gate at Shaffer Road (past the UCSC Marine Science Campus sign.

You may park in the parking lot in front. If it is full you may park on the side of the road on the right hand side (as you were driving toward our building) but please do not block the road.
