"The California and the World Ocean '06 (CWO '06) Conference brought
together more than 1000 attendees from 23 states and six countries to
focus on improving ocean and coastal management. Invaluable information
from fisheries to sediment management was shared with participants
during the 67 sessions spanning four days.

"We hope the information shared at CWO '06 will continue to inform our
work to protect the ocean and coast. The conference had seven
concurrent sessions and one of the most common comments we received was
that participants had difficulty determining which session to attend.
Consequently, we are providing the video archives of most CWO '06
sessions (49 of 67 total sessions) free to the public at the CWO Web
site <http://resources.ca.gov/ocean/cwo06/ >

"Proving video coverage was a major undertaking, but with this service
the knowledge from these sessions will be available online well into the
future. For those unable to attend the conference, this service will
provide them with an opportunity to benefit from this unique event. In

most conference posters."
